Installations (Site-Based)
Each series I make is on a continuum, endless iterations. I sense something new each time. A different environment, a change in atmosphere reveals a new perspective. Even the most subtle can resonant. To make these installations is to move the body and I find my body gravitating towards similar movements and repetitive gestures. It’s not “process”, it’s performing, it’s realizing the work, the object, the material. To say “process” falls flat. I enjoy how the camera then dances around, under, on top of the piece - adding dimension and color. It’s somewhat flirtatious and also behavioral.
